Kellwell Food Management, a leading correctional food service provider, is seeking a dedicated Cook/Supervisor to join our team at the Madison County Jail in Danielsville, GA. You will play a vital role in providing nutritious and well-prepared meals within a secure correctional environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

As a Cook/Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing inmate food preparation while also actively participating in cooking activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring recipes are followed accurately. Verifying correct ingredients and amounts are used. Adhering to strict food safety standards. Supervising and working alongside non-violent inmates in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

Experience in bulk cooking facilities is preferred, but not required. Ability to pass a background check (required for working in a correctional facility). Strong leadership and communication skills. A passion for food service and maintaining high standards. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation
