The Corporate Sales Manager is instrumental in driving corporate room revenue by building and maintaining strong relationships with business travel accounts, local enterprises, and key decision-makers. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, negotiating favorable rates and contracts, and delivering outstanding client service to exceed the hotel's revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract and retain corporate clients.
Proactively identify and secure new corporate accounts through outbound outreach, networking, and formal presentations.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
Negotiate and manage local corporate rate agreements to optimize revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with the revenue management team to ensure alignment on pricing and inventory strategies.
Conduct property tours and represent the hotel at industry functions to foster client engagement.
Track and report sales activities, leads, and performance metrics using Delfi/Salesforce.
Prepare monthly account reports, forecasts, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with operations, front office, and reservations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Participate in local business and community organizations to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation.
Stay current on competitor activity, market conditions, and travel industry developments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of hotel sales experience, ideally within the corporate or business travel segment.
Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM/sales systems.
