What you'll do

Interpret and apply federal, state, and organizational policies to ensure Salem Health's ongoing compliance with evolving regulations. Monitor and report on new or emerging compliance issues, advising leadership and recommending appropriate actions. Identify areas for compliance improvement and lead the development and implementation of corrective action plans. Investigate reported compliance concerns, assess root causes, and recommend effective resolutions. Utilize data analytics to detect anomalies, assess risk, and prioritize audit activities based on potential compliance vulnerabilities. Communicate audit results and collaborate with departments to ensure timely remediation and policy alignment. Serve as a resource and educator on compliance, privacy, and regulatory matters while supporting broader organizational integrity initiatives.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, healthcare administration, public health or related field. Healthcare compliance- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) within 12 months of hire. Healthcare compliance or Healthcare internal audit professional within 12 months of hire. 2 to 5 years experience in hospital and or health system

Additional information

This role is hybrid (remote and in person) and candidates will need to be available to come on site as needed.
