Director of Quality

to lead our quality assurance and quality control efforts across all industrial construction projects in the

St. Louis, MO region.

Position Summary:

The Director of Quality will oversee all quality-related activities for active and upcoming industrial construction projects. This includes developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring that all work complies with internal standards, client specifications, and applicable codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in

industrial construction quality management

and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS) across all industrial construction projects. Lead the QA/QC team and collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and field reviews to ensure industrial construction meets specifications and standards. Identify non-conformance issues, track corrective actions, and maintain detailed quality documentation. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, including IBC, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. Establish project-specific quality plans and ensure they are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Provide quality training and mentorship to field teams and project stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory agencies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend updates to quality processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in

industrial construction

, with at least 5 years in a quality management or QA/QC leadership role. Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, materials, and building codes. Experience developing and managing quality programs for mid to large-scale industrial projects. Proficiency with construction management software and quality documentation tools. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills. Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or ICC preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
