Corporate Controller
. This is a role that has been elevated in their organization to support the company's ongoing growth and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Corporate Controller will oversee financial systems, drive accurate reporting, and nurture a high-performing team during an exciting period of transformation. This position coordinates accounting activities for facilities across United States operations, while collaborating with an international subsidiary on consolidation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct all aspects of general ledger, cost accounting, payables, receivables, assets, and banking for U.S. operations
Lead month-end close cycles, ensuring reconciliations and financial accuracy
Manage intercompany and foreign currency transactions, ensuring proper consolidation and eliminations
Design effective close schedules, review procedures, and maintain audit-ready accounts year-round
Oversee external audit process, corporate tax, and financial reporting, partnering with CPA firms as needed
Elevate controls on journal entries, accruals, inventory management, and purchasing
Ensure adherence to GAAP and private-equity standards through policy refinement
Supervise multi-state sales and use tax compliance utilizing specialized platforms
Drive major ERP system implementations and technology integrations, supporting the transition between multiple platforms and championing automation in AP and financial close activities
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to validate cost drivers, inventory, and production reporting
Analyze standard costs and variances, promoting accountability and operational improvement across the organization
Translate financial outcomes into actionable insight for non-financial stakeholders
Set performance metrics for cost management, working capital, and operational efficiency
Mentor and develop accounting staff to uphold standards of speed, accuracy, and reliability
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification strongly preferred
Minimum of 8 years progressive accounting management within a manufacturing environment, including responsibility across multiple plants
Experience working for top-tier public accounting firms is desirable
Background in private equity or fast-moving, results-driven settings is advantageous
Expertise in GAAP, standard costing, inventory control, and entity consolidation
Familiarity with foreign transactions, intercompany eliminations, and multicurrency environments
Skilled in ERP systems and transitions between core platforms
Experience implementing AP automation, close management, and compliance technologies is preferred
Demonstrated leadership in challenging environments, with a track record of driving operational efficiency
