The Corporate Accountant role is a vital part of our corporate accounting team, encompassing arange of general accounting responsibilities. In this role, you will manage financial records, perform reconciliations, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Financial Accounting

Assist with month end financial closeby posting journal entries, reconcilingcertain balance sheet accounts, and reviewingmonthly expenses with oversight of select branch locations. Complete various census, survey, and property tax forms. Assist with various audits (financial, bank, various states, etc.). Familiarity and adherence to GAAP.

ManagerialAccounting

Work closely with entire corporate finance team including Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controllerand Wholesale Division Controllerto provide financial information including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting information. Interact with Division Managers, Operations Managers, Office Managers, local accounting teams & other personnel across the company. Ad hoc data and financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as necessary. Corporate expense review.

Vendor Management

Communication and management of vendorpromotional billing and tracking. Prepare daily corporate deposit and assist with vendor maintenance.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,or a related field. 2+ years' experience ina Corporate Accountant or similar role. Experience working for a publicly traded company preferred. Strong understanding ofaccounting principles,practices, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (Great Plains) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
