Job Description

Overview

Manufactures sand cores using methods such as SO2, Shell Core, Warm Box, or Pep Set machines, applies core wash by brushing or dipping, services and packages finished product to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Inspects all product at beginning, during, and end of the process for defects and quality issues.

Performs core box setup which includes box changeovers, machine calibration, sand loading, and core box alignment.

May load cores into oven and/or place on rack for drying.

May fill surface defects with putty or patching sand.

Processes cores to include defining, applying core wash and assembly,

Packages finished product to customer specifications.

Works as a team to ensure all cores meet customer specifications with regard to quality.

May assist in other areas of the plant.

Works safely at all times.

Regular attendance and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
