This is the opportunity of a lifetime located in the beautiful Walden, Colorado area. Housing provided!

Spring Creek Construction, LLC is a design-build firm located in Walden, Colorado. We have approximately 20 properties in the region that we are responsible for remodeling, maintaining, or building. The largest of these properties is a custom built 120,000+ square foot. world-class log structure.

Located just 30 miles south from the Wyoming border and 100 miles west from Fort Collins, Walden Colorado is a small town nestled near the Arapaho Wildlife Refuge and next to the Walden Reservoir. Pristine views and clean mountain air in a quiet setting are provided in this position along with potential for 2-5+ years of full-time employment with Spring Creek Construction.

Compensation:

• $18 - $30 per hour, depending on previous experience and training.

• Free housing for full-time, single employees (specific housing needs to be discussed at the point of offer - housing does have some limitations)

General skills required for this position:

• Coppersmith apprentice training course completed.
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience after completion of apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience soldering sheet copper seams with a soldering iron
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of seaming, hand folding, sheet metal brake work, shrinking and stretching sheet copper.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment related to fabricating metal (brakes, presses, shears, welding machines, plasma cutters) is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload.

Preferred skills for this position:

• 10 plus years in the copper sheet metal field, ornamental copper

Specific Requirements:

• Must already be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and possess reliable transportation.
• Must relocate to Walden, Colorado
