What We're Looking For:
We seek individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional quality every day. The ideal candidate anticipates customer needs and provides solutions that address both current and future requirements.
Responsibilities:
I&R Technicians perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POTS & DSL (HSI high-speed internet).
Maintaining and repairing outside copper plant facilities within assigned geographic service areas are also included.
Observe all safety rules and regulations.
Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested.
Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers.
Direct customer facing work
Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed).
Teamwork (technical expertise developed to complete work efficiently to achieve work group key service measures).
Active Listening (ability to take input from customers, APS and co-workers to problem solve and improve skills.
Assume all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Technician must have their own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack
Technician must have their own tools to perform the job. 28' ladders needed for aerial work. Android smart phones are also a requirement. Windows 10 Laptop. Test Meters.
Technician must have lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel.
Other equipment may be required by local management.
Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required.
Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
