LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN



SHIFT: Full-Time, Afternoons 2:30p - 11p

JOB SUMMARY:



The sterile processing coordinator will supervise all sterilization activities, including decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution across the healthcare system. The coordinator must demonstrate current knowledge and adequate relevant experience within perioperative services. The coordinator will work comprehensively and collaboratively with OR coordinators and other ancillary areas to ensure that we produce quality sterile instrumentation for each procedure that is completed within the Maury Regional Health System. Data collection surrounding these initiatives is required. Oversight of sterilization activities at the Pavilion Surgery Center is required.
