The Western Golf Association conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of youth caddies and supports the Evans Scholars Foundation's efforts to award full tuition and housing college scholarships to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.
Position Description
The Coordinator Scholarships supports the Evans Scholarship application and interview process. In addition, they will play a key role in ensuring all scholarship procedures are efficient, accurate, and student-centered.
Job Responsibilities
Assist applicants, parents, club officials, high school administrators, and WGA Directors with the application process by answering phone calls and emails
Act as a resource for finalists and parents before, during, and after the interview process.
Manage the annual update of Selection Meeting templates and university partner directories
Play a key role in the data compilation of scholarship documents throughout the process
Review and evaluate scholarship applications
Aid in the execution of Selection Meetings through data assembly, finalist support, and vendor follow-up
Support Senior team with future focused projects to ensure the continued longevity of the scholarship
Collaborate with Senior Manager in the planning and execution of annual Scholarship Re-Cap Meeting
Work alongside the Caddie Academy team for any presentations, university partner college visits, or events that relate to the Evans Scholarship process

Willingness to work at the Glenview office in person.
A valid driver's license with the ability and willingness to travel.
o Travel expected to be 25% of working days.
Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.

Ability to translate a warm and friendly demeanor via phone and email.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with events and customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word. Willingness to learn WizeHive - Zengine.
