Role Summary



The Coordinator, Human Resources is the operational anchor of the Human Resources team. This role coordinates end to end onboarding and day one readiness, maintains accurate employee data, and processes all employee transactions in Paylocity. The Coordinator, Human Resources serves as the first point of contact for employee questions, maintains complete and secure files, and supports compliance requirements. The role also will process bi-weekly payroll, support with benefits administration and assists with employee engagement activities. Working closely with HR Team, the Coordinator, Human Resources delivers timely, consistent service to employees and leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate end to end onboarding for all new hires offer packet routing preboarding tasks day one schedules and welcome communications Create and maintain employee records in Paylocity enter hires status changes pay changes terminations and demographic updates accurately and on schedule Maintain secure and complete personnel files and document archives per retention requirements Serve as first point of contact for the HR inbox and ticket queues respond to employee and manager inquiries and route escalations promptly Assist with benefits administration new hire enrollments qualifying life event changes eligibility audits and vendor coordination as directed Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, prepares imports, audit timecards, validate gross to net, and support off cycle needs as assigned Coordinate fingerprinting and required forms for roles governed by DODD ODJFS and ODE and track to closure Support employee engagement activities schedule events prepare materials track participation and post communications Identify process issues and recommend simple fixes document updated standard operating procedures and keep job aids current

ONGOING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and agency information and use sound judgment in all communications. Represent the Achievement Centers for Children with professionalism courtesy and accuracy in all interactions. Follow all agency policies and procedures including timekeeping safety and use of systems and equipment. Demonstrate integrity accountability and respect build trust and model positive human relations. Practice inclusive behavior and support a culture where all employees feel valued and heard. Participate in required training and pursue continuous learning to improve skills and outcomes. Identify process issues and propose simple fixes that improve speed quality or compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



Education

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree preferred.
Experience

Two or more years in human resources coordination, benefits or HRIS data entry with a strong accuracy record. Two or more years payroll processing experience required. Hands on onboarding support including I 9 Section 2 and E Verify.
Systems

Working knowledge of Paylocity or a similar HRIS. Proficient with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
Skills

Detail orientation and data accuracy. Clear written and verbal communication. Strong follow through and organization. Customer service mindset with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Knowledge

Basic understanding of benefits enrollment payroll timekeeping and employee record-keeping. Familiarity with Ohio program requirements DODD ODJFS and ODE is a plus or ability to learn quickly.
Other

Ability to travel between ACC locations in Northeast Ohio as needed.
Pay: $47,285.43 - $50,000.00 per year
