South Dakota State University (SDSU) Division of Student Affairs is seeking a dedicated and conscientious professional who thrives in a dynamic environment to be our Coordinator for Community Standards. This position plays a key role in holding students accountable to university policy and in developing prevention efforts in the areas of behavioral interventions, alcohol, and other drugs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards students, craft impactful educational initiatives, and foster collaborative relationships across campus. The Division of Student Affairs at SDSU enriches the students' overall educational experiences through the delivery of quality services and programs as well as providing intentional learning experiences in diversity, global awareness, leadership, and social responsibility. In partnership with the academic community, the Division seeks to measurably impact success by effectively recruiting, retaining, and graduating students. Serving as conflict coaches, mediators, and hearing officers, the staff of the Office of Community Standards and partner organizations such as University Housing & Residential Life assist students in all stages of adjustment and adaptation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage in educational and accountability measures with students regarding University policy, alcohol and drug education, and student conflict assistance.
