Mrs. Shar's Famous Cookies is urgently hiring a highly skilled and dependable

Cookie Maker

who can confidently run our cookie production kitchen with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level role--

we need someone who can step in, start immediately, and handle full cookie production from scratch for TWO store locations.

We are looking for serious applicants with strong experience

working specifically in a cookie shop or bakeshop

. Pastry school alone does

not

count as experience. You must know how to run a cookie kitchen, manage production flow, and maintain consistent quality at all times.

This position requires consistent weekend availability and reliability.

Compensation

Up to $20 per hour

depending on experience and performance Additional hours may be required during the holiday rush

Responsibilities

Prepare and mix all cookie dough

from scratch

using precise measurements and standardized recipes. Operate a

20-quart commercial mixer

confidently and safely. Produce cookies daily starting at

7 AM

, maintaining steady, high-volume output. Bake and package cookies for

two store locations

, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Run the kitchen independently--maintain production schedules, manage baking times, and keep cookies fully stocked. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully compliant with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory needs. Maintain consistent quality in appearance, size, and taste for every batch.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on cookie shop or bakeshop experience (required).

Must have real bakery production experience--not just pastry school.

Must be able to run a cookie kitchen on your ownwith little supervision. Must be able to start

immediately

and begin producing from day one with minimal training. Strong ability to manage production for multiple locations. Confident in using a

20-quart mixer

and handling commercial bakery tools. Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation rules.
