COO / INTEGRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership
  • Maintains a high-level, strategic perspective, proactively anticipating and addressing challenges, opportunities, and potential developments, akin to a 60,000-foot view
  • Expertly implements and sustains the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) with a strategic focus on fostering growth
  • Consistently conveys the strategic plans and initiatives of the organization
  • Serves as crucial liaison to supervise, guide, and facilitate the successful completion of organizational strategies, initiatives and projects, ensuring they reach the finish line
  • Ensures smooth resolutions serving as the tiebreaker for decisions when needed
  • Balances a strong commitment to realizing the organization\xe2\x80\x99s one-year goals with a comprehensive understanding and ownership of the broader strategic vision, and holds primary responsibility for the Vision/Traction Organizer (VTO), driving its development and execution
  • Effectively compartmentalizes and prioritizes visionary and innovative thinking
  • Balances a healthy dose of skepticism with the ability to foster and cultivate a positive organizational culture
  • Evangelizes the advantages of Lean principles, emphasizing waste elimination to increase value to customers and stakeholders
Management
  • Facilitates and oversees the effective management of Level 10 meetings (L10s)
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics, providing a holistic view of organizational performance
  • Analyzes leading indicators and proficiently synthesizes data as integral components of the decision-making process, enabling well-informed, strategic choices, and the anticipation of future trends
  • Drives the implementation of sustainable improvements within the organization, fostering long-term enhancements and efficiencies
  • Stays informed about the latest trends in manufacturing, design, construction, and regulatory changes, ensuring the organization stays ahead in an ever-evolving landscape
  • Has acquired a deep understanding of the industry and possesses the knowledge to effectively articulate and discuss various aspects
  • Facilitates and participates in Kaizen events and daily improvements to enhance the organization through 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Variability Reduction, and other Lean/Toyota Production System/Six Sigma/Theory of Constraints tool
Accountability
  • Embodies a sense of ownership, cultivates a mindset aligned with accountability and responsibility, and efficiently implements the accountability chart
  • Brings daily focus and attention to critical tasks and objectives
  • Assumes responsibility for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s overall profitability and holds ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement
  • Strategically assembles and nurtures a robust management team
  • Assumes ownership of the people analyzer
  • Guides the organization\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction based on the company scorecard
  • Maintains a visible and influential presence within the organization, actively engaging in employee activities
  • Sustains continuous improvement changes through verifying daily management adherence
QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • 4-year technical or business degree
  • Experience in an organization with at least $20M in revenue and 50 FTEs
  • Experience guiding an organization on their Lean journey
Preferred
  • MBA
  • Construction experience
  • EOS experience
  • Experience in cabinets/wood manufacturing
  • Experience leading customer service/services departments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (i.e., Infor/Syteline)
  • Strong computer skills (especially experience with Excel)
  • Change Management experience
  • Proven successes through organizational changes
  • Customer service and/or sales familiarity
Desired
  • Experience in custom manufacturing
  • Appreciation for cabinetry or general product esthetics
  • CAD experience
  • Company acquisition integration experience

Salary: $160,000 to $200,000 plus performance-based incentives
