Job Description

Tamaki Control is looking for an independently motivated Controls Engineer to join our team of ~15 engineers in the Twin Falls, ID branch. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and configuration of industrial automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and Program Control Strategies for Process Control Systems Collaborate with customers to assess and propose automated solutions Assume project lead role to execute defined scope of work to customer satisfaction Maintain customer relationships and perform technical reviews and functional training Independently write, test, debug, commission, document, and support your code

Qualifications

Must-Have

Ability to adapt to changing environment and handle multiple priorities Knowledge of PLC Controllers Knowledge of Common HMI/SCADA Systems Strong troubleshooting skills 2-5 years' experience in systems integration, electrical control systems, automation engineering or manufacturing processes in industrial plants (preferably food and beverage) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs Experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform Experience with Industrial Networks Experience with P&IDs, electrical drawings, panel layouts and hardware specifications Familiarity with SQL Databases Familiarity with Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
