Assistant Controls Project Manager

in Long Island, NY. The Assistant Controls Project Manager is responsible for execution of smaller HVAC controls projects including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. They can take the lead on specific assigned tasks on larger control projects with oversight. The Assistant Controls Project Manager will manage a portfolio of smaller projects. Where is the work:




From Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office




What you will do:



Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders. Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, awards subcontracts, and manages subcontractor execution. Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, backlog reviews, and applied cost. Collaborate with technicians to establish project task, communications for project progress, and review of plans / specifications and control submittals. Leads all aspects of project administration including, awareness of construction contract content and language, validating project scope / cost / schedule, managing project compliance, project documentation, project safety guidelines.

What you will bring:



Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and managing subcontractors preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management a plus Average financial and business acumen with a background in construction processes Experience utilizing project management tools a plus Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

o DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:




Base Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year


Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.




This position is safety-sensitive.
