Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the accounting functions and maintain all account systems and functions, including weekly and monthly reporting, monthly sales and/or occupancy tax filings, biweekly payroll funding, weekly accounts payable funding and payment, and overall financial reporting.

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections in coordination with leadership's supplied parameters.

Manage and monitor daily cash flow and intercompany transactions, supporting capital project funding.

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.

Work with our auditors and financial institutions in the preparation of all required filings.

Provide financial and analytical support for new acquisitions and continuous capital improvements across a diverse portfolio, including:

Hospitality:

Hotel LBI, The Boulevard Hotel, Spray Beach Hotel, Manasota Key Resort, various Hilton brand hotels

o

Residential:

The Cottages at Compass Point, The Village at Lambert Green, The Village at Hamilton Green, The Point Townhouse Community

o

Recreation & Events:

The Mainland Adventure Park, Weddings of Distinction, The Boatyard

o

Automotive Services:

Valet Auto Wash, Valet Auto Wash Express Lube

Qualifications

7+ years of accounting or financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.

CPA designation strongly preferred; public accounting experience a plus.

Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational execution.

Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Experience within construction, real estate development, or property management industries preferred; knowledge with legal issues regarding the same a huge plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
