Position Overview:
South Dakota Mines is seeking an experienced and innovative individual to direct its financial services. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller provides leadership and direction for all accounting, budget, and financial reporting, and serves as an integral member of the School of Mines' financial management team.
Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, management or related field is required. An MBA or related master's degree is preferred
• 10 years of relevant experience is required
• Preference will be given to candidates with university experience and skills in communicating financial information to a diverse set of constituencies
• Candidates must have a broad professional background and be capable of supervising and interacting with students, administration, and faculty
