Job Description

META PCs is a fast-growing, founder-led company looking for a Controller to own the accounting function end to end. This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day accounting operations while also providing forward-looking financial insight to leadership.

You will work alongside bookkeepers and be responsible for accuracy, cash flow visibility, and building accounting processes that scale with the business.

This is not a pure bookkeeping role and not a CFO role. It is an operational accounting leadership position.

What you'll be responsible for

Own daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll coordination, and inventory accounting Oversee and work alongside bookkeeper Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements Maintain accurate COGS, inventory valuation, and margin reporting Build and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts with dollar-level accuracy Create rolling projections and scenario analyses to support planning Analyze variances and proactively surface risks and opportunities to leadership Design and implement improved accounting and finance processes as the company scales Maintain internal controls and documentation Serve as the primary accounting contact for external CPA, tax advisors, and any fractional CFO support Provide clear, actionable financial insight to the CEO and leadership team

What we're looking for

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a Controller or Head of Accounting role Strong understanding of inventory, COGS, and operational accounting Proven experience building cash flow forecasts and financial projections Comfortable being hands-on while also owning process improvement Experience working with external CPAs and tax advisors Strong attention to detail with the ability to zoom out and think proactively Experience in a growing, fast-moving business preferred

Pay: $91,645.57 - $130,368.86 per year
