Controller
Job Description
Striegel Design and Construction is a muncipal contractor in Medora, IN looking to hire a controller. This is position in located in our home office in Medora, IN. The job would be day shift Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week.
Job Duties:
- Managing accounts payable using Quickbooks online and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Subcontractor agreements, Purchase Orders, and additional paperwork for multiple jobs
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchases orders, prices, terms of payment and other chargers
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance and recording entries.
Specific job duties will be discussed during the interview. Several duties will be discussed and trained on the job. The ideal candidate would have experience in Quickbooks online along with office experience. Pay is based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
