ALLO Communications is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to lead our accounting team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the integrity of all accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls. We are looking for a strategic partner who will not only oversee daily operations but also guide the company through complex financial landscapes, including financial audits and compliance with our debt facilities. The ideal candidate is a decisive and autonomous leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at accomplishing work through others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performance culture and achieve departmental goals. Guide the team in day-to-day accounting activities to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

Financial Integrity:

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Strategic Partnership:

Serve as a key strategic partner to the Director of Finance , the CFO and other company leadership, providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

Financial Audits

: Lead and coordinate all internal and/or external financial audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring a smooth and timely process.

Debt Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all covenants and reporting requirements related to the company's various debt facilities.

Policy & Process:

Develop, modify, and maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.

Reporting:

Accountable owner for regulatory and compliance reporting, as well as the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and reports.

Financial Close:

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Experience:


+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
Skills:


+ Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
+ Strong leadership and team management capabilities with a proven ability to accomplish work through others.
+ High degree of professional autonomy and the ability to work independently.
+ Proven ability to make sound financial decisions in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with limited information or in the midst of uncertainty.
+ Consistent, High-Quality Results: Establishes credibility and finance leadership by producing timely, accurate and insightful analysis, consistently. Earns the respect of others through effective interaction with all teams.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Experience with telecommunications or a similar industry is a plus.
