Position Overview:

SoundTube Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to play a key role in managing and optimizing the company's financial operations. This position will oversee accounting processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and driving efficiencies through report automation and inventory management. The ideal candidate has experience working in multi-subsidiary accounting, a strong background in NetSuite ERP, and a proven ability to lead teams and streamline accounting functions. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

- Oversee and support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple subsidiaries.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies in all financial reporting and transactions.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial goals.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries and supporting schedules.

- Perform and review account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring resolution.

- Support financial audits and tax preparation, working closely with external auditors and tax professionals.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of payments and collections.

- Monitor cash flow and banking relationships, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.

- Oversee inventory management and cost accounting, ensuring proper valuation and reporting of inventory assets.

- Implement and optimize report automation, leveraging NetSuite and other tools to improve financial reporting and efficiency.

- Drive process improvements to enhance financial operations and internal controls.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performance finance team.

- Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant controller role.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.

- Experience with NetSuite ERP (required).

- Proven expertise in accounts payable, report automation, and inventory management.

- Hands-on experience with multi-subsidiary accounting and financial consolidations.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.

75,000-115,000 USD/Annually
