Position Description

Position is in-office and only Maui residents will be considered.

For those moving to Hawaii, relocation assistance is not provided.

Working directly for the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for managing day-to-day functions of Accounting as well as managing special projects as they relate to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate:

is technically astute in accounting, finance, and software is a quick learner who can hit the ground running a strong people manager enjoys workflow/process improvement projects can interpret data and communicate findings/options clearly and efficiently

Position Requirements

10+ years of progressive accounting responsibilities and financial management Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration Proficient in Excel, Teams, and Outlook ESOP accounting experience highly desirable Construction accounting experience/background highly desirable Experience in eCMS desirable

A flexible, customer service oriented, problem-solving attitude Exceptional communication skills Excellent organization and prioritization skills Experience working with different skill levels Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a dynamic environment Maintain strict confidentiality in performance of all duties Tech savvy with ability to drive new software implementation and integration Preference will be given to residents of Maui, HI
