Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial plans and budgets for the Americas region. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting principles, some international exposure in regulatory compliance, and financial management.

Duties

Financial Planning and Budgeting

: Assist in creating financial plans and budgets for the AMERICAS region. Collaborate closely with operational teams to set realistic goals and manage budgets effectively.

Financial Analysis

: Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate financial performance and identify trends. Analyze key metrics such as revenue, costs, profit margins, and return on investment. Participate in development of group consolidation processes.

Reporting

: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to inform management about financial performance. Ensure that reporting is accurate, timely, and relevant. Working closely with Headquarters Controlling and Finance Team in Germany while ensuring that the needs of the AMERICAS President are met, including support in pricing and other relevant KPIs.

Process improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Cost Management and Controlling

: Monitor and analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Assist in developing and implementing cost control measures.

Communication with Auditors:

Manage communication with auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

Educational Background

: A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience

: Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in an international environment and specifically in the AMERICAS region.

Analytical Skills

: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.

Communication Skills

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Technical Knowledge

: Experience with financial software and ERP systems, as well as advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerBI and other analytical tools. Experience with SAP and Lucanet is desirable.

Willingness to Travel

: The AMERICAS Controller must regularly travel to the Headquarters in Germany.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
