Job Summary



The

Contract / Business Analyst

is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contract administration -- from procurement planning and scope development to post-award compliance and performance monitoring. This role ensures business continuity by coordinating procurement actions, resolving contractual issues, and providing administrative and analytical support related to supplier performance, budgets, and delivery schedules. The position supports Agile Dream Team's mission through effective governance, compliance, and operational efficiency in contract management.

Responsibilities



Perform and oversee all phases of the

contract management lifecycle

, including planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and compliance monitoring. Coordinate and manage

procurement actions

, including development of Scopes of Work (SOW), cost justifications, and supporting documentation. Provide

administrative and analytical support

to resolve procurement issues such as funding discrepancies, supplier availability, or material delivery schedules. Support

budgetary planning, funding verification, and tracking

for assigned contracts. Conduct

contract oversight and compliance monitoring

to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and performance standards. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and management reviews. Analyze supplier performance and develop recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and accountability. Collaborate with project managers, finance, and legal teams to address and resolve contractual and operational challenges.

Requirements



Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of

7 years of experience

in program analysis, contract management, or compliance in a business or procurement environment. Strong knowledge of

contract law, procurement regulations, and vendor management processes

. Proficiency in

ERP and contract management systems

(e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, or Coupa). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Residency:

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to

Washington D.C.

(on-site position).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91,389.30 - $110,060.23 per year
