Airborne Solutions, within the Defense Group at Leidos has a dynamic job opportunity for a Contract Special Security Officer (CSSO) located in Manassas, VA and the ideal candidate may be required to deploy to OCONUS sites as needed. In this role, you will be supporting the ARTEMIS program.

As the CSSO you will provide expert knowledge on program specific clearance processing, such as: COMSEC account management, controlled space management, visit certifications and control, classified document control, controlled unclassified information (CUI) management and requirements, to include tactical security operation support.

Primary Responsibilities

Enforce security requirements of applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), the National Industrial Security Program Operational Manual (NISPOM), security directives, DoD 5200-1R, and the National Security Agency (NSA) Manual 3-16.

Manage, implement and communicate government, corporate, and program security policies and procedures.

Maintain Anti-Tamper program and the program OPSEC Plan.

Brief Program Manager and Program Security Manager on the status of the Program Security Functions.

Manage physical security requirements

Assist FSO with accomplishing security self-assessments, clean desk audits, and DSS Vulnerability Assessments.

Assist Export Control department with International Traffic in Arms Regulations documentation

Develop and administer security education, training and awareness program to cleared personnel

Conduct briefing/debriefing of individuals requiring access, as required.

Maintain an ongoing security education program

Advise personnel of their reporting requirements

Process outgoing visit authorizations for personnel

Prepare DD-254 documentation and appropriate security guidance for subcontractors in ACCS (Army Central Clearance System).

Prepare Facility Clearance (FCL) Sponsorship documentation for subcontractors requiring new FCLs.

Experience with T-SCIF\xe2\x80\x99s as well as modular/structural SCIF accreditations and operations.

CSSO/CSSR roles and requirements

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 4+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must possess broad knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program rules, regulations, and procedures.

Knowledge of Tactical Security Operations and mobile units.

A DoD Top Secret/SCI current clearance is required, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
