Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Contract Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information regarding incidents or concerns. Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft and ensure the protection of property.

Skills

Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of first aid practices and CPR certification is a plus. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is essential. Understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. A valid security certification is preferred but not mandatory.
