Duties
Conduct thorough, objective C&P disability evaluations based on standardized protocols.
Review the veteran's medical records prior to the exam.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations relevant to the DBQs assigned.
Document findings clearly and accurately in the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) format.
Provide no diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, evaluation only.
Maintain professionalism and punctuality to support timely veteran scheduling.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted
Nurse Practitioner license
in the state(s) where exams will be performed.
National board certification (FNP, AGNP, PNP, etc.).
Excellent assessment and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Prior C&P, disability evaluation, or occupational health experience preferred but
not required,
training provided.
