Valor Health Group is seeking experienced and mission-driven

Nurse Practitioners (NPs)

to perform

Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations

for our nation's veterans. These are

one-time, non-treatment, non-prescribing evaluations

focused solely on objective assessment for disability benefits--not ongoing care.

Duties

Conduct thorough, objective C&P disability evaluations based on standardized protocols. Review the veteran's medical records prior to the exam. Perform comprehensive physical examinations relevant to the DBQs assigned. Document findings clearly and accurately in the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) format. Provide no diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, evaluation only. Maintain professionalism and punctuality to support timely veteran scheduling.
Requirements

Active, unrestricted

Nurse Practitioner license

in the state(s) where exams will be performed. National board certification (FNP, AGNP, PNP, etc.). Excellent assessment and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Prior C&P, disability evaluation, or occupational health experience preferred but

not required,

training provided.
Position Details

1099 Independent Contractor Flexible scheduling -- choose the days you want to work. No nights, weekends, call, or follow-up visits. Competitive daily rates based on case load - paid bi-weekly
Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $83,200.00 - $416,000.00 per year
