This role is responsible for opening new wholesale and retail accounts nationwide, with a major focus on building relationships within contract furniture dealerships, the A&D community, and end-users in corporate, government, and higher education sectors. The ideal candidate will reside in the
Myrtle Beach, SC
area and have a passion for sales and relationship building.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
Drive new business through prospecting, lead tracking, and converting projects.
Deliver impactful presentations to designers, dealers, and end-users, both in large and small settings.
Service and expand relationships with current corporate business and large direct accounts.
Cultivate specifications-driven growth with dealers, designers, corporate accounts, and municipalities.
Consistently upsell from competitor quotes to maximize revenue.
Attend trade shows and industry events to stay connected and promote company products.
Collaborate across departments to identify product and pricing gaps and capitalize on market advantages.
Perform other duties as required to support business growth.
Qualifications:
3+ years of proven success in sales within the contract furniture industry, specifically with designers, dealers, and end-users.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a "hunter" mentality with a polished image that aligns with the company's values.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the contract furniture industry, including competitors, ongoing projects, and key influencers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Canva and 20/20 a PLUS.
