Client Summary: FBI National Security Branch (NSB) Support Section

The FBI NSB Support Section is seeking skilled professionals to support high-tempo, executive-level national security missions. The NSB combines counterterrorism, counterintelligence, weapons of mass destruction, and intelligence functions to protect the United States against threats and uphold federal law.



Location:

FBI Headquarters, J. Edgar Hoover Building, Washington, D.C. (may be subject to change within the National Capital Region)



Clearance Required:

Active TOP SECRET/SCI



Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm



About the Role





Join the FBI's National Security Branch (NSB) Support Section as a Program Analyst. You'll provide executive-level support for national security programs, financial management, intelligence resource management, and data analytics. These roles require TS/SCI-cleared professionals with expertise in federal government programs, systems, and policies.



Key Responsibilities (All Levels)





Write executive-level briefing papers and reports Analyze and evaluate program data using quantitative and qualitative methods Prepare graphics and tables for briefings Research policies, regulations, and prior practices Coordinate with internal/external divisions for information requests Draft responses for taskers and RFIs Attend meetings and draft meeting notes Support program management, financial oversight, and data analytics

Position Levels & Qualifications





Program Analyst I





Bachelor's degree in economics, data analytics, or related field Minimum 3 years of federal government experience (intelligence, defense, law enforcement) Strong writing, briefing, and analytical skills Experience with Power BI, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint Ability to work at Executive Staff-level and self-start

Preferred:

MBA or master's degree; experience writing resource justifications for Congressional, OMB, DOJ, ODNI audiences



Program Analyst II





Bachelor's degree in economics, data analytics, or related field Minimum 6 years expert federal government experience Superior writing, briefing, and analytical skills High proficiency with Power BI, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint Demonstrated success at Executive Staff-level

Preferred:

MBA or master's degree; expertise in federal planning, programming, evaluation/execution; resource justification writing



Program Analyst III





Bachelor's degree in economics, data analytics, or related field Minimum 10 years senior, expert federal government experience Expertise in writing, editing, and producing resource-focused reports Outstanding briefing and interpersonal skills Expertise with Power BI, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint Demonstrated success at Executive Staff-level

Preferred:

MBA or master's degree; program management certification; experience with fiscal planning and administration



Security & Other Requirements





U.S. citizenship Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph required) Routine criminal and credit checks Must complete mandatory FBI training

Salary Range (2025 Estimates)





Program Analyst I:

$69,000 - $79,000/year (Entry-level, 3+ years experience)

Program Analyst II:

$80,000 - $95,000/year (Mid-level, 6+ years experience) *

Program Analyst III:

$96,000 - $118,000/year (Senior-level, 10+ years experience)
