Consulting Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for a qualified Delivery Lead for our North America Commercial Sector . This position is responsible for successful delivery services within the subregion by building a high performing consulting organization and scaling to effectively meet the consulting financial objectives as well as customer satisfaction objectives through successful execution of customer engagements.
What you will do:
Business & Delivery Management
Red Hat product and consulting offering portfolio awareness
Establish direction, growth and maturity of delivery processes and procedures
Plans for and makes strategic and tactical business decisions that directly affect the organization's processes
Analyzes and challenges current working methods to create improvements in processes and results
Oversight of compliance of delivery processes and procedures
Capacity Planning, hiring and retention of responsible organization based on current utilization and forecast
Collaboration with business partners including North America Public Sector Services/Sales Directors, Operations, Project Accounting, Resource Management Office, and other business units
Accountable for total compliance of global and regional delivery requirements
Coordination with Sales/Services Management for pipeline activity that requires enablement and capacity planning
Business development for needs in the marketplace for future trends and strategic decisions
Strategy, Guidance, and Communication to the Delivery Management Team to ensure consistency across all subregions
Future facing planning for next generation Delivery Management in support of the business
Client Relationships
Develop strategic client relations with executive level client personnel
Manage executive level client expectations within strategic accounts
Overall delivery responsibility for entire subregional portfolio of projects and the resources managing and delivering the projects
Provide senior escalation management and ongoing review of High Risk Projects
Team Management
Establish direction while creating a high-performance, high morale working environment
Direct people management of senior team members
Enablement of Delivery Managers, Client Managers, and Project Managers for professional growth and development
Mentor and coach team members, ensuring each has targeted training plans and understands required developmental components needed for career progression.
Develops others by encouraging accountability and enforcing performance standards
What you will bring:
Experience leading large teams of consulting delivery resources including senior and/or manager level team members
Strong leadership and management skills, with a collaborative style; ability to participate at the executive, strategic and tactical levels of the customer
Minimum 12 years of extensive customer interface experience in consulting, professional services, program management or similar position
Excellent customer service, relationship building/management, and facilitation skills. Ability to influence peers, supervisors, and subordinates across the business to achieve business outcomes
Experience with financial outlooks/actuals, supply and demand management, and forecast management
Demonstrated business acumen to lead a services business and manage sales and revenue targets
Hands-on leadership style; ability to lean in on initiatives to drive successful outcomes
Ability to participate in a virtual office setting and maintain an active and dynamic presence
Advanced knowledge of PM Methodologies and various PM tools
Knowledge of Red Hat Technology
BA/BS in relevant field
Ability to travel approximately 50% time or as needed by the business
The salary range for this position is $105,860.00 - $169,340.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
