• Support civil and environmental engineering projects that influence energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
• Contribute to site/civil design, stormwater engineering, remediation, erosion control, and water management initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams--planners, scientists, and engineers--to deliver innovative solutions locally and globally.

What You'll Bring
Required

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to research and prepare technical memorandums, field reports, and report sections.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or current registration for the F.E. exam.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS Software, and/or Hydraflow/HydroCAD.
• Prior internship or professional experience in civil/environmental engineering.
• Willingness to travel for field work.

Key Responsibilities

• Work remotely/hybrid while maintaining clear communication on schedules, deliverables, and tasks.
• Assist in civil/environmental design and support for projects including:

• Site plans
• Erosion and sediment control plans
• Stormwater management plans
• Permit application preparation
• Participate in field work, sampling, construction monitoring, and reporting.
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects across diverse geographies.
• Ensure compliance with ERM's world-class Health and Safety Program.

For the Consulting Associate, Engineer position, the anticipated annual base pay is $67,925 - $77,317 USD) . Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
