Job Description

A Client Superintendent is responsible for managing daily construction operations, overseeing projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality, maintaining client relationships, and enforcing safety and regulatory compliance. Key duties include planning work flow, managing subcontractors, scheduling government inspections, maintaining daily logs, conducting subtrade meetings, and ensuring materials and workmanship meet project requirements and Client's safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Management:



Oversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget, and meet client satisfaction goals.

Safety & Compliance:



Ensure the jobsite maintains the highest safety standards, exceeding OSHA and EM385 regulations and following Client's safety programs.

Client Relations:



Maintain positive working relationships with clients and other partners, coordinating field activities and communicating progress effectively.

Schedule Management:



Plan and establish the work flow, monitor and update project schedules, and proactively address opportunities to reduce the critical path.

Site Coordination:



Plan and set up an efficient jobsite layout, maintain an organized and clean work area, and coordinate all field activities.

Quality Control:



Implement quality control programs, verify materials against approved submittals, and ensure the quality of workmanship.

Reporting & Communication:



Conduct weekly subtrade meetings, maintain daily logs of jobsite activities, and communicate effectively with project managers and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Experience:



Construction Experience:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience managing construction projects autonomously.

Education:



A degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is preferred. Construction Quality Management course required.

Certifications:



Must have or be able to obtain an OSHA 30 and 40 Hour certification, EM385-1-1 certification and be First Aid/CPR Certified.

Technical Skills:



Ability to read and interpret federal contract documents, safety rules (including EM385), and technical manuals.

Soft Skills:



Strong written and verbal communication, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
