Job Description

H&H Construction Company is a local concrete foundation company that has been in business for over 30 years. Looking for a reliable concrete supervisor who is wanting to grow with the company. This position over see's two wall crews, providing them with the proper layouts to stand forms on, ordering and scheduling the materials for each site, and any required quality control to ensure a product to our standard. Roles a responsibilities include reading and marking up blueprints, translating blueprints to layouts for the crews to use, ordering materials, scheduling concrete pours, and most of all constant communication with the home builders.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficient Scheduling:

Creating an efficient schedule with pours and materials deliveries at least being placed 48 hours prior to pour date.

Accurately marking plans:

Reading the options sheets, transferring the correct options/plans changes to the engineered set for the crews and the job site, to unsure accurate pours.

Site Preparation/layouts:

Reading the plans for each address and transferring the measurements/specs to a layout on the ground prior to the footer being poured, and on the footer prior to the wall being poured.

Safety Compliance:

Following safety protocols, using personal protective equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Repairing damaged or incorrect walls/footers:

Cutting, smoothing, and repouring any necessary walls or footers if damaged or poured incorrectly.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Stamina:

Concrete work can be physically demanding, requiring lifting, bending, and working in any and all weather conditions.

Tool Proficiency:

Familiarity with hand and power tools used in concrete work, such as tape measures, levels, hammers, laser levels, drills, and saws.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from home builder superintendents.

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accurate layouts, proper concrete placement, and square level walls.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

Communication Skills:

Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.

Basic Math Skills:

Understanding measurements and calculations related to plan dimensions and concrete volume.
Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
