We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervising experience, and proficiency in Microsoft. This role involves leading teams, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining project timelines to deliver high-quality results. The Construction Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all aspects of construction are executed efficiently, safely, and within scope.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Monitor progress against project schedules using Microsoft and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
Manage and lead construction teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained and safety protocols are followed
Resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimise delays or disruptions
Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates, risk assessments, and resource utilisation
Ensure compliance with legal regulations, building codes, and environmental policies
Requirements
Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong management background
Proficiency in Microsoft for scheduling and project planning
Demonstrable supervising experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Good communication skills for liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred
