Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead landscape construction projects across both commercial and high-end residential markets. This is a field-focused leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality, safety, schedule, and profitability. Projects typically range from $50,000 to $2,000,000, with an approximate 50/50 split between commercial and residential work. The Superintendent reports directly to ownership and the executive team and plays a key role in the company's growth and future leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple landscape construction projects concurrently Provide day-to-day leadership to foremen, crews, and subcontractors Plan, schedule, and forecast work using established SOPs and internal systems Utilize Aspire software for job costing, change orders, and financial tracking Ensure compliance with general contractor requirements on commercial projects Monitor job costs, production rates, and percent-complete performance Conduct regular jobsite inspections and manage punch lists Enforce quality control and safety standards Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor needs Participate in pre-construction meetings and client job walks Serve as a professional representative of Greenscapes to clients and partners Submit timely billing and documentation to support cash flow Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of systems and processes

Qualifications & Experience

2+ years of experience as a Landscape Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role Strong understanding of landscape construction trades and sequencing Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
