Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to oversee and coordinate large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management tools. This role requires managing project schedules, budgets, safety protocols, and ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Duties

Lead and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software. Oversee daily operations on-site, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones. Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of work. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations. Monitor safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety procedures on-site. Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents. Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project documentation and technical assessments. Ensure effective communication with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Supervise and mentor site personnel; manage subcontractor performance and resolve on-site conflicts efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing complex projects. Extensive construction site experience including supervision of crews and subcontractors. Knowledge of contracts administration, budgeting, project scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required. Strong management skills with demonstrated supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with the use of tools like ohmmeters is a plus. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients. Relevant educational background or certifications in construction management or related fields preferred. Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
