Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. You will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure safety compliance across the site. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust workflows as needed. Oversee procurement, budgeting, and cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools to keep projects financially on track. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide construction efforts and resolve design issues promptly. Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors; ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and progress tracking; utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary. Coordinate project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and daily logs using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam. Supervise onsite personnel, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a productive work environment. Implement safety protocols diligently; conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.

Qualifications



Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects across various sectors including pipelines or heavy civil works. Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, scheduling (Primavera P6), budgeting, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience supervising construction sites with a focus on quality control and safety compliance; OSHA certification preferred. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid; familiarity with Primavera is essential. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while supervising subcontractors and vendors. Excellent communication skills for coordinating between multiple stakeholders including clients and design teams. Ability to read electrical schematics; experience with Ohmmeter testing is a plus. Pay: $66,356.10 - $79,912.73 per year
