This position will assist with or lead construction projects from pre-construction through completion. Candidates with proven leadership experience may enter as Superintendent or Project Manager, while those earlier in their career may be considered for an Assistant Project Manager role. A company truck will be provided after successful completion of the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities (based on position level)
Assist with or manage daily onsite project coordination for remodels and new builds
Develop and maintain project schedules using Buildertrend (required)
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
Read and interpret blueprints and plans accurately
Ensure safety standards are followed in compliance with OSHA guidelines
Maintain detailed project documentation, including change orders and job progress updates
Perform or support regular jobsite walkthroughs and quality control inspections
Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding project status
Support budget review and estimating processes
Additional Responsibilities (Superintendent/Project Manager level)
Lead full project management from planning to final turnover
Oversee subcontractor contracts and enforce project requirements
Communicate directly with clients and conduct onsite coordination meetings
Address sequencing, schedule updates, and technical challenges proactively
Supervise internal punch list completion before final walkthrough
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of construction experience for Assistant Project Manager level
Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects or supervising sites for Superintendent or Project Manager role
Proficient in Buildertrend (required)
Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software preferred
Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, scheduling, and safety compliance
Ability to organize tasks and coordinate multiple trades or teams
Valid driver's license; company truck provided after probationary period
Preferred Experience
Custom home building and or high-end residential remodeling
Knowledge of local permitting, building codes, and inspection requirements
OSHA certification or training
Ability to mentor or support junior team members
