We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bilingual Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive construction site experience, strong management capabilities, and proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools. The Construction Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, subcontractors, and clients, fostering seamless communication and efficient operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Monitor progress against schedules, budgets, and quality standards; implement corrective actions as necessary.
Manage site safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety inspections and training.
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately.
Supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labor teams; provide leadership and performance feedback.
Skills
Extensive experience in construction site supervision across diverse projects.
Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Plan Grid, and Building Connect,
Technical Skills
Experience with interior, exterior and foundation removals
Familiarity with layout, and quality control procedures
Understanding of waste management and recycling protocols
Leadership & Management
Excellent team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to coordinate subcontractors, crews, and suppliers effectively
Demonstrated commitment to safety culture and jobsite compliance
Capable of making real-time decisions under pressure while maintaining efficiency and safety
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required or must obtain)
First Aid/CPR certification
Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) or Demolition-Specific Training (NDA certification) preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, and environmental regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, building connect etc.)
