Key Responsibilities - Multifamily Construction Superintendent
Lead On-Site Construction for Ground-Up Multifamily Projects:
Oversee all phases of construction for large-scale, ground-up multifamily developments, drawing on 6+ years of hands-on experience in managing complex residential builds from site preparation through final turnover.
Blueprint and Specification Proficiency:
Interpret and work from architectural, structural, and MEP blueprints and project specifications to ensure construction aligns with design intent, code requirements, and quality standards.
Master Schedule Management:
Develop, maintain, and manage a detailed master construction schedule using critical path method (CPM) principles. Coordinate sequencing of trades and adjust timelines proactively to mitigate delays and optimize project delivery.
Trade Coordination and Communication:
Serve as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for all local subcontractors and trades. Foster clear communication, hold regular coordination meetings, and ensure all field teams are aligned with schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
Construction Technology & Software Utilization:
Use construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms to manage documentation, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, and progress tracking.
Mentorship and Team Development:
Support and mentor assistant superintendents, field engineers, and interns. Promote knowledge-sharing, leadership development, and a collaborative team culture on the job site.
Client and Stakeholder Representation:
Act as a professional representative of the company during site visits, progress meetings, and inspections. Communicate clearly with clients, owners, and consultants, providing updates and solutions that reflect the company's commitment to excellence and accountability.
Safety and Compliance Oversight:
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety regulations. Conduct toolbox talks, site audits, and maintain an injury-free jobsite culture.
Quality Control & Inspection Readiness:
Maintain high standards of workmanship across all phases of construction. Prepare the site for municipal and third-party inspections, ensuring readiness and rapid approvals.

Compensation & Benefits Package
Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
Salary is commensurate with experience, particularly related to ground-up multifamily construction projects. Candidates with more extensive field leadership experience will be considered at the higher end of the range.
Car Allowance: $600 - $750/month
Car allowance is based on commute distance and travel expectations. A company gas card is also provided to cover fuel expenses.
