Position Overview



Job Title

: Construction Superintendent

Location

: Las Vegas, NV

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with experience in the hospitality and/or casino industry to lead projects in Southern Nevada and surrounding areas.

As a Superintendent at Addison Inc., you will play a pivotal role in managing construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will provide leadership and supervision of all activities on-site, ensuring that safety measures are consistently observed by all team members. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong background in construction management.

Key Responsibilities



Job Cost Management

:

Review Job Cost Reports to ensure financial accuracy. Support procurement processes and purchase orders.

Subcontractor Management

:

Lead subcontractor selection and oversee relationships. Support prime and subcontract agreements.

Reporting and Documentation

:

Contribute to monthly reports, including budget and schedule updates. Lead the preparation of project pictures, RFI/submittal logs, and narratives.

Logistics and Equipment

:

Assist with ordering and tracking equipment rentals, dumpsters, and temporary toilets. Support in sending out bid packages.

Project Management

:

Lead the creation of scope sheets and RFIs. Review all submittals. Assist with buyout, descoping, and level sheets.

Change Management

:

Review change orders for entitlement. Oversee the percentage of work completed for monthly pay applications.

Bidding and Proposals

:

Lead the scope of work for bid packages and review proposals and bids. Approve the bidders list and manage subcontractor meetings.

Safety and Compliance

:

Lead safety initiatives, including supply management and evacuation planning. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.

Scheduling and Coordination

:

Create detailed project schedules and coordinate material deliveries. Manage schedules, project progress, and resource allocation. Collaborate with clients and project managers.

Site Management

:

Maintain a daily log of job site operations and report to management. Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.

Compliance and Inspections

: Schedule required inspections with relevant agencies.

Qualifications



Experience

: Minimum 5 years in local construction management or a similar role.

Skills

: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; proficiency with project management software.
