Job Description

Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience and can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $125,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner Discuss the project's costs with clients and make sure the project stays within budget Employ subcontractors and ensure they have all of the necessary permits

Qualifications:

Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods Must have general contractor license Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software Must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree is preferred for this role
