Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in residential painting, drywall, facilities maintenance, and mechanical knowledge. This role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and appearance of our properties.

Responsibilities

Perform residential painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. Conduct routine facilities maintenance, addressing repairs and upkeep as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately. Operate logic controllers and other technical equipment as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Lead small teams on specific projects, providing guidance and support as necessary. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential painting and facilities maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients. Familiarity with schematics, logic controllers, and CMMS software is preferred. Ability to use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams when required. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to tasks. A commitment to safety practices in all maintenance activities.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
