Job Description

At 3C Industries, our Construction Scheduler is essential to turning plans into reality. This role connects people, tasks, and timelines to drive predictability and accountability, helping our teams anticipate challenges, minimize delays, and deliver high-quality projects for our clients. This role coordinates subcontractors, materials, and labor; identifies risks; monitors progress; and communicates updates to project teams and stakeholders. Using scheduling software such as P6, MS Project, or Procore, the Scheduler prepares reports, schedules with Gantt charts, BIM, and critical path analyses while adapting to evolving on-site conditions.


Regular visits to active jobsites are required, with flexibility to work onsite and engage directly with project teams.


Key Responsibilities




Schedule Development:

Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, breaking down the logic of the tasks, sequencing activities, and establishing the critical path.

Monitoring & Updating:

Continuously track project progress and lead weekly schedule updates, ensuring schedules accurately reflect current conditions and reinforcing the Scheduler's responsibility as the schedule owner.

Modeling:

Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to coordinate project schedules, track progress, and integrate design and construction data for improved planning and collaboration.

Risk Management:

Identify and communicate potential risks early, including weather challenges, labor shortages, and delivery delays, and take corrective action in coordination with the team to keep work on track.

Reporting:

Provide accurate schedule updates, timelines, and performance summaries to project managers and key stakeholders.

Communication:

Clearly communicate schedule impacts, challenges, and solutions to internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications




Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience strongly valued. Background in construction means and methods, construction scheduling, project coordination, and/or related construction support roles. Skilled in P6, MS Project, Procore, or similar construction scheduling platforms. Strong understanding of construction workflows, project documentation, and industry best practices. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management abilities. Ability to commute to active jobsites is required, with flexibility to work onsite and engage directly with project teams.
