Job Description



Chevron Products Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., is accepting applications for the position of Construction Scheduler located in El Segundo, California, through April 27, at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time).
Develops and maintains integrated and resource-loaded small projects, capital project/construction schedules to support project development and execution. Works closely with Contractor partners to review/analyze their schedules, understand and communicate critical path and associated risks, and report effectively to stakeholders. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Works with Construction Estimators, Lead Construction Program Coordinators, Construction Engineers and Company Representatives on duration and critical path estimates.
  • Responsible for ensuring schedules are adequately resource loaded.
  • Review schedule progress and validate on a regular basis with the construction team.
  • Develops integrated project execution schedules including pre and post execution activities.
  • Partners with Operations when necessary to effectively capture critical execution windows and timing.
  • Reconciles earned vs burned data with contractors and participates in schedule assurance reviews with the construction teams.
  • Communicates status of execution, critical path, and any areas of concern throughout the execution phase of the project.
  • Documents lessons learned and shares learnings with peers and leadership.
  • Adopt digital tools as rolled out for use and provide feedback to product owners.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/High School equivalent.
  • Valid driver\'s license with a history of safe driving practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in the oil&gas industry.
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and Power Bi.
  • Working knowledge with PRIMAVERA software.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $97,800 \xe2\x80\x93 $168,400.
