n A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION SAFETY COORDINATOR n As our Construction Safety Coordinator, you oversee the development of our company safety program, including developing site-specific safety policies and procedures. Always happy to help, you provide direction and technical expertise to supervisors and managers to help them implement health and safety practices. You work hard to put control procedures in place and ensure continuous safety process improvements throughout our company. Since quality and safety are the first priorities for our employees and customers, your role is very important. You perform regular audits to maintain federal and OSHA compliance. n As a result of your attention to detail, our quality improvement and safety improvement within our projects excel. You administer and train on our quality and safety manuals as well as manage and audit multiple projects simultaneously. When there are accidents, near misses, or safety concerns, you conduct thorough investigations. You are conscientious about keeping up-to-date and accurate records and filing reports in a timely manner. Your job is highly collaborative, as you contribute to discussions with superintendents and project managers that have an interest in our quality and safety protocols. n QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION SAFETY COORDINATOR n

• Bachelor's degree or military experience in lieu of college degree n
• 4+ years of construction safety experience n
• Current OSHA 500 certification preferred; Osha 30 certification n
• Competency with Excel, Word, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat DC n
• First aid and CPR certification n

n Experience with self-performing crews, the ability to speak English and Spanish as well as proximity to our Las Vegas office would be ideal! Do you have strong organizational skills? Are you attentive to detail? Can you lead cross-departmental teams effectively? Are you self-motivated and able to work independently? Can you communicate effectively in a variety of mediums with all levels of employees? Are you highly motivated and willing to lead by example?
