As a Construction Supervisor, this role leads the field operations to achieve successful goals, while executing all related activities in a safe and organized manner. Supervisors drive schedules, are skilled at developing productivity plans based on contract budgets and schedules, and lead subcontractor and field crews to achieve productivity and quality performance. Successful Supervisors have significant experience across all phases of construction and possess a positive and inspiring attitude to lead with success and respect.
Required skillset:

*inimum 5+ years' experience
_ in residential field construction, supervision, and project management. These pertinent areas of responsibility encompass scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of preferred residential construction. Working knowledge of all areas of residential construction, practices, and terminology. Ability to read and understand blueprints, architectural drawings, construction documents, regulations, concepts, practices, trade base, and procedures.
Organized and adaptable, possessing a sense of initiative. Responsive and persistent in follow-up; delivering superior quality; detail-oriented.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, while directing subcontractors, vendors, and field crew.
Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people and personalities, including, but not limited to, upper management, staff/peers, designers, trades, vendors & clients.
Ability to build rapport and maintain Customer Satisfaction during the entire building process.
Motivate building partners to perform at a high level of competency.
Manage time effectively, multitask, and prioritize to meet established goals & deadlines.
Computer proficiency

to handle job costing, payroll, and communication with vendors and trades. Required Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project/ homebuilding software Buildertrend, and web/email communications. Blue Beam is a plus.* Decisive, yet flexible, along with working well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays in a fast-paced environment.

The role, as a front-line representative of the company, is to work directly and intimately with our clients, architects, subcontractors, and preferred vendors. Your value to this company will be measured in how efficiently and effectively you work with our team and business partners to assure the following successful outcomes:
Assured client satisfaction that consistently delivers client referrals. Proactively resolve homeowner issues.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in company workflow processes, policy, and procedures.
Provide input on the scope of work and estimates to ensure safety and code compliance, in addition to meeting financial requirements.
Participate, as directed, in pre-construction activities, including validation of estimates, bidding reviews, mark-up of construction documents, and participation in developing RFI's.
Participate in creating the project construction schedule and establish both the budget and select trade(s) for the project. Execute and/or reconcile sub-contractor invoices and sub-contractor change orders--job cost code all vendor and subcontractor invoices, as well as field crew time cards.
Complete the project on time and on budget; preferably on or before the construction deadline.
Overseeing all job site activities, including scheduling and work of sub-contractors, deliveries, and direct supervision of company employees in the field to assure code and other regulatory compliance, quality assurance, accuracy, and timeliness. Enforcing safety procedures; adherence is critical.
Maintain the home under construction in a presentable condition for our customers, and, within the acceptable standards of the company, in addition to respecting the neighbors and community/development of the client, if applicable.
Providing leadership, guidance, and strategic planning in all aspects of successful field operations.
Available and flexible to participate in client meetings and/or training sessions in the office and/or field, and occasionally at pre-sales meetings. Expectation to contribute during internal efforts with upper management to improve internal systems and/or produce project cost estimates.
Expectation to represent the company in the highest professional capacity, as it relates to our clients, team members, business partners, and the public at large. Personal attire and physical appearance represent professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail.
Ensure open communication on all matters related to the build process; foster an environment conducive to proactively resolving issues; and maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to producing a high-quality product.
Maintain the construction documents at the job site so that all pertinent information is readily available to management and the other field associates. Ensure all paperwork, including permits and executed contracts, is accurate and necessary for the work being completed.
Conduct pre-construction meetings, if applicable, with the customer, as well as oversee the construction, inspection, and scheduling of the entire home using inspection forms, plans, and procedures. Complete customer walk-through items pre- and post-close, and address all related warranty work.
Recruit, actively communicate with, and train business partners on safety, quality controls, and payment procedures to assure a solid vendor base.
Secure the company's property and protect it from theft, vandalism, and other forms of damage.
Prepare daily, monthly & quarterly reports, as required. Review the monthly client pay applications created by the billing department.
