We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Construction Project Manager
to oversee and manage sitework construction projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing all sitework-related activities such as grading, excavation, utilities, and roadwork, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
:
Project Planning
: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all sitework activities align with project timelines and milestones.
Team Management
: Supervise and coordinate the work of site personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operators. Ensure tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Quality Control
: Ensure that all sitework (e.g., excavation, earthwork, grading, stormwater management, utility installation) adheres to engineering plans, local codes, and quality standards.
Resource Management
: Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and labor. Ensure proper allocation of resources to meet project needs.
Safety Compliance
: Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Risk Management
: Identify potential risks related to site conditions, weather, or scheduling, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Communication
: Act as the main point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and the construction team. Provide regular progress reports and manage expectations.
Problem Solving
: Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction, such as design conflicts or resource shortages, and implement effective solutions.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of sitework activities, change orders, budget updates, and compliance reports.
Qualifications
:
Must have
a minimum of
2+ years of experience
in sitework/civil construction management
Strong knowledge of
earthworks, grading, utilities, and drainage systems
.
Proficient in
project management software
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret construction blueprints, engineering plans, and specifications.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to sitework and land development.
Strong understanding of
budget management
and
cost control
.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
